After School Age Child Care

The Greater Holyoke YMCA is the largest provider of after school child care in the Holyoke area. With 20 years of experience in providing quality care, we offer families a safe, affordable after school program.

Activities include:

Literacy and Homework Help
Thematic Curriculums
Arts and Crafts
Gym Time
Outside Play and Snack

Our mission is to provide a program of age appropriate activities that strengthens the family unit and develops the whole child; socially, physically, and educationally.

Our dedicated staff is trained in child development, behavior management, First Aid and CPR.

All of our sites are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and serve children ages 5 thru 13 years of age. Sites are open on half days of school; we offer full day programs during school vacation weeks for an additional fee.

All children enrolled in our School Age Program receive a program membership to the YMCA while enrolled.

		All sites are open from school dismissal until 6:00 PM

Before School Child Care Program We offer a before school program at Plains Elementary to children enrolled in South Hadley Schools. Qualified staff oversees quiet activities and homework help. A light breakfast is served. Hours are 6:30 to 8:40 AM.
