Whether you’re eight years old or eighty, there are swimming programs for you at the Greater Holyoke YMCA. We have two pools: a six-lane 25-yard pool utilized mostly for lap swimming, masters swim lessons, and our Vikings Swim Team, and a four-lane warm water 20-yard pool. Early Spring Session-Classes for Children and Adults
Early Spring Session registration begins February 14 and ends when the session starts. The Early Spring Session is 7 weeks and runs from Sunday, March 1 to Saturday, April 18.
*There will be no youth aquatics or youth development classes from April 20 through April 24.
Masters Swim Program
Masters swim practice will be held 5 days a week in the large pool. Mondays and Wednesdays are focused on stroke technique and triathlon specific workouts. They are 45 minutes long and are part of the Triathlon Program but can be attended by Masters swimmers. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are intense 90 minute training sessions that on sprinting and long distance events. These practices are not part of the Triathlon Program.
