Whether you’re eight years old or eighty, there are swimming programs for you at the Greater Holyoke YMCA. We have two pools: a six-lane 25-yard pool utilized mostly for lap swimming, masters swim lessons, and our Vikings Swim Team, and a four-lane warm water 20-yard pool. Summer Session-Classes for Children and Adults

Spring Session registration begins April 11 and ends when the session starts. The Spring Session is 8 weeks and runs from Sunday, April 26 to Saturday, June 20.

Masters Swim Programtriteam1

Masters swim practice will be held 5 days a week in the large pool.  Mondays and Wednesdays are  focused on stroke technique and triathlon specific workouts.  They are 45 minutes long and are part of the Triathlon Program but can be attended by Masters swimmers.  Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are intense 90 minute training sessions that on sprinting and long distance events.  These practices are not part of the Triathlon Program.

  1. Goggles
  2. Swim suit
  3. Swim cap
  4. Pull buoys and kick boards are provided
  5. Water bottle
