After School, Made Easy
Greater Holyoke YMCA is the largest provider of after school care in the area, bringing decades of experience to safe, high-quality child care that strengthens the whole family.
Our programs offer age-appropriate activities that support kids socially, physically, and academically, including homework help, thematic curriculum, arts and crafts, physical activities, outdoor play, and snacks.
Staff are trained in child development, positive behavior support, First Aid, and CPR. All sites are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, serving children ages 5 to 13.
Programs run from school dismissal until 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with sites open on half days. Full-day programs are available during school vacation weeks for an additional fee.

All children in our child care program can take other Y programs such as swimming at a reduced price.
After School Forms
Financial assistance is available for families in need. To apply, complete the scholarship form along with one month’s household income documentation and birth certificates for each child. No family should miss out on summer because of cost.
